MÅS Persson is a Swedish painter with a unique style. His paintings look like
sculptures, they are painted on wood and sawn out. Often with houses in strange perspective, very 3-dimensional, but they are flat.
There maybe a connection to the Italian painter Piranesi with his stairs and ladders but then in MÅS Persson´s world it is made in his own way.
In some of his paintings there are people, always lonely people. Although they live close together, they have no contact. Even if the meaning is dark, Stefan tries to put some humour into the paintings, but it must be in balance.
But humour is something that you find in most of his work, you can see that Stefan MÅS Persson has fun while he is working; creating his own houses and forms.
